Message from CEO

ProTherapist Academy (“PTA”) was established in early 2005 with the objective of providing good quality and practical training of body and foot massage therapists at affordable and reasonable rates. In particular, PTA recognizes the importance to our students undergoing career changes who wish to learn massage skills to enable them to secure meaningful and rewarding jobs with employers or even to enable some to set up business whether as freelance therapists or otherwise.

Well-executed massage techniques can have the effect of healing a number of ailments that one’s body may have. PTA believes that a good pair of hands, if well taught, can heal a number of ailments or at least aid the process of healing.

PTA firmly believes that proper learning of massage techniques is a crucial first step in training a quality professional massage therapist. Pride and confidence in one’s skills and profession is the next crucial element in PTA’s education process. Hence, our Motto is “Learn to Be, Proud to be”.

Our students, equipped with skills and confidence, may tap from PTA’s extensive employers’ network by using our job placement services. PTA takes great efforts in matching potential employers with our graduating students and encourages continual training of therapists to enable them to upgrade their professional skills.

In line with our academy’s objectives, we work with well-qualified instructors to teach our students using course materials and structures accredited by NSRS. Our academy premises, situated centrally and easily accessible by MRT and other modes of transport, is well equipped to allow students to learn some of the world’s most famous and useful massage techniques.
